Q: Will someone be available to offer support if I need it?

A: Yes – and this will always be a senior member of staff. Our directors run the agency and they are prepared to go that extra mile to help you to sell your home and achieve your goals. They are available on a daily basis to answer your questions and give you the benefit of the extensive experience that many other agents lack. From initial contact right through to after sales support, one of them will be by your side and striving for success.

Q: I can’t always take calls during working hours, is that a problem?

A: Not for us at Reality! We are on call from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. With shift work, flexitime, childcare responsibilities and the many demands of modern living, we understand that you need us to be available beyond normal working hours. Furthermore, the many complexities of selling and buying homes do not always take place neatly between the hours of 9am and 5pm. Therefore, we work to ensure we are there when you need us. And we are more than happy to communicate with you via text, WhatsApp, Skype or even Facebook Messenger if you prefer!

Q: How satisfied are your clients with the service you offer?

A: Very satisfied. And we have the testimonials and Google Reviews to prove it. We appreciate that any estate agent can write testimonials for their website but here at Reality we also have our very own wall of thank you cards and letters in the office. While we do showcase some of our customers’ glowing comments on our website, we also remind ourselves how important good service is by pinning up the many notes we receive. These days Google reviews are also very revealing – and we pride ourselves on our abundance of five-star ratings, which are there for all to see.

Q: I understand that estate agency is not regulated in the same way as many other industries and those working within it do not have to be qualified?

A: Yes – and this means that standards can slip for those “rogue” agents who do not comply. Lucy qualified with the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA), ensuring we always surpass required standards and implement various codes of practice and the business subscribes and complies with the Property Ombudsman’s Codes of Practice.

Q: What else makes you different from other agencies?

A: We care more because we are family run. We are confident that all estate agents want their businesses to succeed but do their employees take as much pride in their service? Soon to be married, we are partners in and out of the office. Reality is therefore everything to us – it is our passion, our livelihood and at the very heart of our lives.
